Darla continues to make progress every day. This weekend she was able to turn over on her own in bed and lie on her stomach...ooh that felt good! She continues to maintain a good sense of humor and said, "I'm like a six month old infant learning to roll over." She was also able to start putting a slight amount of weight on her left leg to help her transfer from bed to wheelchair and vice versa. While these achievements may sound small, they are huge steps in regaining her mobility.
She is feeling great about her progress and continues to maintain a wonderful attitude about her recovery. Darla said she feels stronger and stronger as each day passes. She feels encouraged with all the love and support around her, and is hoping to make the break for home by mid June.
