Quick Update
The lead surgeon came out to tell us that he is done with the first half of the surgery (placing the plate on the front of her pelvis) and that it is going very well. It takes them about an hour to dress her incision and flip her over to start the back side of the surgery. He also said that her fracture is directly through the channel where all the nerves run and it is nothing short of miraculous that she does not have extensive nerve damage. Darla has no nerve damage. There has been evidence of numerous miracles throughout this early process. If history is any indication, she will have a miraculous recovery!
